Rob “Hardy” Poole’s weird golf outing with comedian Rich Vos
During this morning’s Toucher & Hardy radio program, Rob “Hardy” Poole shared a lively tale from his past weekend with comedian Rich Vos, who was in town for a string of shows at Laugh Boston. This story followed Vos’s in-studio appearance on Friday with hosts Fred Toucher and Rob “Hardy”. During the show, Vos talked about his experiences during the pandemic, his comedic escapades, and his penchant for gambling.
However, the most memorable moment came from Hardy’s recounting of their golf outing over the weekend.

Offering Vos the choice between a golf course with temporary greens and a trip to Topgolf, Hardy was met with Vos’s preference for the former. Despite Hardy’s caution to his Indian neighbor about Vos’s humor, the situation turned slightly awkward due to Vos’s continuous stream of racial and religious jokes. Hardy was al;so puzzled by Vos’s choice of golf clubs during their outing, which consisted of subpar equipment, including two Nike Sasquatch hybrids and a few other mismatched clubs. He questioned why Vos didn’t bring proper gear, especially since he drove up from Jersey for the show. Hardy speculated that Vos’s trunk was filled with two massive survival kits, complete with a shovel, which left little room for golf clubs. This revelation left Hardy amused and bewildered by Vos’s eccentricity.
