Hardy: Keep Kevin Durant away from the Celtics
On Thursday’s edition of Zolak & Bertrand, Hardy made it clear that he’s not interested in Kevin Durant being dealt to the Celtics whatsoever.
Tim McKone: You know what the craziest thing is? Guy, you have been the general manager so far. Like you were the one that wanted James Harden there. =You have been the GM. Sean Marks must be like, what have I done? Like what a ricochet shot this is.
Ted Johnson: Just been kissing your ass, basically doing whatever the hell you want. Well, that’s what I’m saying, I mean that’s what’s so absurd is he’s basically getting everything he wants and he’s still not happy.
Hardy: You are the GM. We went and got Harden. We went and got that nightmare. Kyrie, you wanted to play, this is what you wanted. The guy wouldn’t play because you wouldn’t get the jab and all this stuff. What? What? It is nuts. And all the more reason why I say no thank you. I had questions about this guy’s makeup and drive and just I had questions. I do not question his ability and talent. How can you? Do you watch? Do you watch games? No. So I’m not going to question his status as a top player in the league, you know, he’s top three, certainly. I don’t want him anywhere near this team, and I certainly don’t want to trade (Jayson) Tatum and (Jaylen) Brown to get him. This guy’s he’s got issues, man. Not Kyrie issues. Not even James Harden issues. And I’m sure every player in the league at some point has had daydreams or fantasies about firing a coach or a GM or if I ran things. But he’s actually doing it. He’s actually doing it.
