Bruins Announce Radio, TV Schedule For 2018 Preseason
The Boston Bruins will have five of their 2018 preseason games televised in September, in addition games to four games broadcasted on the Bruins flagship radio station, 98.5 The Sports Hub, the team announced.
Here’s how you can follow along in between Patriots games and the Red Sox’ stretch run.
Saturday, Sept. 15 (Shenzhen, China)
Kicking their preseason off at Shenzhen Universiade Sports Center in Shenzhen China, the Bruins will face off against the Calgary Flames at 2:30 a.m. ET, and can be heard on 98.5 The Sports Hub and watched on the NHL Network and Sportsnet.
Judd Sirott and NESN’s Andy Brickley will have the call on 98.5 The Sports Hub.
Sunday, Sept. 16 (Boston, Mass.)
Those that did not make the trek to China will begin their preseason with a head-to-head against the Washington Capitals at TD Garden. That game will be played at 1 p.m., and can be watched on the NHL Network.
Wednesday, Sept. 19 (Beijing, China)
The Bruins will conclude their preseason trip to China with another meeting with the Flames, this time at Cadillac Arena in Beijing, China at 7:30 a.m. ET. The radio call of the game will be found on 98.5 The Sports Hub, while the TV viewership will shift towards NBCSN in the United States, and Sportsnet in Canada.
Wednesday, Sept. 26 (Boston, Mass.)
Back in Boston for another preseason game — and with the once-split squads reunited and likely whittled down to one, primarily-NHLer camp — the Bruins will square off against the Detroit Red Wings. 98.5 The Sports Hub will carry the radio call for this game, while the television broadcast of the game will air on NESNplus.
Saturday, Sept. 29 (Boston, Mass.)
The Bruins will conclude their preseason with a 5 p.m. home game against the Flyers. It will also feature the ‘norm’ on both radio and television, as 98.5 The Sports Hub will carry the game on the radio airwaves, while NESN gets the call on TV.
