The Patriots may be losing an offensive weapon before they get to add any.
Phillip Dorsett is receiving interest from ‘multiple teams’
Multiple teams have shown interest this week in Phillip Dorsett, per source. He could still come back around to the #Patriots with his best offer after testing the market, as he did a year ago.

Free agent rumors remain murky with the 2020 season’s financial status tied up in the current CBA negotiations, but it looks like if the Patriots want to retain Dorsett’s services, it may take a bidding war to do so.

Dorsett was in a similar position last season as well. The Patriots ended up letting him explore the market and come back to him with the best offer. That could be the case once again and would be made easier by a free agency process that’s expected to be drawn out with the pending CBA.
In 2019, Dorsett played in 14 games for the Patriots catching 29 passes for 397 yards and five touchdowns. He’s been with the team since the 2017 preseason, when he was acquired from the Indianapolis Colts for quarterback Jacoby Brissett.
