Scott Zolak: The Chiefs’ time is coming to an end
On Monday’s edition of Zolak & Bertrand, Scott Zolak explained why he thinks the Chiefs period of dominating the NFL is coming to an end.
I can smell it…
Marc Bertrand:
I can’t wait until the Chiefs play terribly against Buffalo and then beat them up there. Watch this season go haywire in the final month. Something crazy where the Bills don’t lose, and the Chiefs drop a couple. Watch.
Scott Zolak
I’m going to enjoy these playoffs. That’s like the biggest thing I took from yesterday is someone is going to pop someone on both sides. Somebody’s getting upset. Like Buffalo, if they play like that yesterday they’re not going to advance, they’re going to lose the Divisional Round or AFC Championship Game. That’s an issue for them. That’s a bad loss for them.
Tim McKone:
Kansas City is going to have home field now probably.
Scott Zolak:
I can see Pittsburgh going in there and popping them in the divisional round. Laugh at it. Laugh at Pittsburgh. I’m going to take them again this week.
Marc Bertrand:
I don’t like their chances.
Scott Zolak:
Experienced quarterback going in there now. They can run the ball. They can throw it. The receivers are good. The receivers are better than Kansas City’s.
Marc Bertrand:
2-game lead for the Chiefs with a month to go here for homefield advantage and the bye.
Scott Zolak:
I’m rooting for Detroit to make it to the Super Bowl and ither Buffalo or Pittsburgh. That’s what I want to talk about leaving my hotel room to go to the Convention Center every day because I can’t stomach two more weeks of Kansas City. Can’t do it.
Tim McKone:
It’s going to be the Chiefs. They’re the Patriots. Which is wildly frustrating for Patriots fans.
Scott Zolak:
I do see their time coming to an end. I do smell that. I see it.
