Celtics pick up third-year option on Robert Williams III

With the end of Daylight Saving Time around the corner, the Celtics have picked up the third-year option on The Time-Lord himself, Robert Williams III,
Celtics picked up third-year option on center Robert Williams, league source tells ESPN.
Drafted with the 27th overall pick in 2018, the 22-year-old Williams III is off to a start that’s included real playing time, averaging 15:13 per game through the first four games of the season after averaging 8:50 in 32 appearances in 2018-19.
The Celtics have even included Williams III in their starting five, with the 6-foot-8 Williams getting a start against the Knicks last Saturday.
Williams III is averaging 4.3 points and 5.0 rebounds per game, and has dropped eight of his 12 shots this season.
