Ice Cube talks Celtics & BIG3 with Joe Murray
We know that the city of Boston is known for championships. This Sunday at TD Garden, another champion will be crowned as the winner of the BIG3. The 3-3 basketball promotion started by rapper Ice Cube will have celebrities and NBA Hall of Famers in attendance fora great weekend of basketball.
We talked about 3-3 basketball at the Olympics and how they invited the gold medal winning Netherlands to the event, but due to timing issues they could make it. I asked him about Jaylen Brown being left off team USA and how Jayson Tatum was treated. The rapper gave a first hand look on his relationship with Brown and how he has impacted the Big3 promotion. Ice Cube has been in a situation where people have tried to break up his group and shared his feelings on how people and the media are doing the same things to Tatum & Brown.
