Alex Barth of 985thesportshub.com joined Felger and Mazz on Tuesday to discuss the latest with New England Patriots training camp. Barth said that he thought rookie quarterback Drake Maye looked “comfortable” in Tuesday’s practice.

Felger: How did Drake Maye look today? On the station I think we had a couple of sports-gasms over a couple of his throws, but how did he look today overall?

Alex Barth: I thought he looked good. The word I kept going back to was “comfortable”. It was the first day he's really looked comfortable. I felt like he was able to get in a rhythm. There's a few reasons for that....one, he had a lot more time to throw. They moved the offensive lines around a little bit and he had better protection today, especially in the red zone. He was just seeing the field really well, he was delivering the ball on time, and he was putting it in the right spot. He did struggle at the end of practice in a one minute drill kind of thing. He went three and out, but before that I was ready to say was his best practice at camp.

Jim Murray: So I had seen that this two-minute drill, one minute drill, whatever you want to call it was kind of ugly. Was it all on him? Were there drops? What was the issue there?

Alex Barth: It was a little bit of both. So there was one where it was an interception, he tried to hit Javon Baker on an out route in a tight window, and they're on the opposite side of the field so it was a little tough to tell if the ball hit off Baker's hand or if the defender got a hand on it, it popped right up in the air and Marcellas Dial was able to pick it off. I don't question the throw so much as I questioned the decision. There was another play where they couldn't get the snap off. It looked like the offensive line was miscommunicating, which I don't know that Maye was chiefly at fault for that but anytime you don't get the snap off obviously the quarterbacks are part of it. He did miss a couple throws too. There was a lot going on I guess would be the best way to say it.

16 Best New England vacation spots, according to Felger

On Friday's Felger & Mazz program, Mike Felger gives his list of best summer vacation spots in New England.

Felger Vacation Tiers

Mike Felger is well-traveled over the New England area. Many know of his love for the Island of Nantucket, but as it turns out, he's been to more vacation spots in New England than you'd think.

On Thursday's show, the first of August, Felger and "Big Jim" Murray did a remote broadcast from The Faregrounds Restaurant on Nantucket. And it only seemed right for the guys to rank their best summer vacation spots. And while Murray and Matt McCarthy—stuck back at the Town Fair Tire Studios in Waltham—chimed in, Felger wanted everyone to know that these are his Tiers. Nobody else's.

From time to time, Felger can be seen doing remote broadcasts from his backyard in Nantucket. Thursday’s event, however, was a little more dressed up as Heineken Silver sponsored the broadcast. And the Faregrounds are known to be a regularly frequented spot by Felger.

Jim Murray, on the other hand, is less privy to the secrets of Nantucket. He did take the pro move by taking a flight to the island, though. Typically, many passengers will take a one- to two-hour ferry to Nantucket.

But flying regionally out of a local New England airport will get you to the Island in a mere 20-30 minutes. Felger was almost too scared to share this secret on the air, as he was afraid too many people would find out about this ultimate life hack.

And now... Mike Felger's ultimate list of best New England Vacation spots, going from worst to best...
