As of today–June 7–Six Flags New England is up and running for its daily summer operations, expanding hours post-Memorial Day. And there plenty of entertainment experiences, dining, and shops to keep you occupied.
So what’s new for 2023? First of all, Six Flags is celebrating diversity and inclusion with the region’s largest Pride event for select dates throughout Pride Month in June. There will be plenty of music, dancing, colorful treats, festive displays, photo opportunities, and weekend entertainment. All of this is in support of LGBTQIA+ organizations, their friends, and LBGTQIA+ allies.

Of course, the 4th of July is one of the highlights of summer. Six Flags is kicking off their Independence Day celebration on July 1st and carrying it through the 4th. The entire theme park will be decked out in red, white and blue. The soundtrack will be decidedly patriotic. American-themed treats will be available park-wide. And there will be a giant fireworks display each and every night.
For the rest of the summer–from July 7 through the end of August–Six Flags is debuting their Summer Celebration for 2023. Billed as “the regions largest nighttime summer celebration,” guests will be treated to a variety of entertainment options. Weekend entertainment, dance parties, character meet-and-greets, and fireworks displays on select nights will all be part of the summer mix.
