The Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers finally dropped the puck for the NHL Outdoor Series on Sunday evening at Lake Tahoe. Check out photos from the game below.
After multiple delays, the NHL settled on a target start time of 7:30 p.m. ET (4:30 p.m. Lake Tahoe time) to accommodate the rink for protection from the sun. The Colorado Avalanche and Vegas Golden Knights encountered serious problems with the sun’s effect on the ice, forcing the league to move the game to midnight ET on Saturday. The Bruins and Flyers finally got underway around 8 p.m. Sunday.
