During this morning’s Toucher & Hardy radio program, Andrew Callahan from the Boston Globe joined the show to discuss the New England Patriots’ team building strategy, focusing on their recent signing of safety Kyle Dugger. Callahan shared insights into Dugger’s contract, comparing it to other safeties in the NFL and explaining what it reveals about the Patriots’ commitment to their core players and team culture.

Callahan also talked about the upcoming NFL Draft, expressing a preference for Drake Maye due to his versatility and playmaking ability. He highlighted the importance of taking a chance on a top quarterback pick in the draft, noting how rare it is to find franchise quarterbacks beyond the early selections. While Fred raised questions about trading down or considering other players, Callahan advocated for prioritizing a strong quarterback choice given the unique opportunity presented by the draft.
“I think the ceiling here is higher. I think he checks more prototypical boxes. The Patriots should be thrilled with either. But Maye’s got something as far as extending plays and creating something out of nothing that I don’t think Daniels does as far as throwing the ball. And I think that right now, when you look at the elite quarterbacks across the league, all of them do that. That separates the great from the elite.”

The definitive list of Sullivan's Castle Island menu items - Toucher & Hardy
It’s rumored I penned the article highlighting 14 delicious summer favorites to eat at Sullivan’s Castle Island. I’m here to share the truth.
It was long rumored that I wrote this article highlighting 14 delicious summer favorites to eat at Sullivan’s Castle Island, but as you know, INTEGRITY MATTERS to me. Long story short, it was actually someone from Hot 96.9 who originally crafted the article, but with Fred referencing it on the show, listeners believed this listicle was created by yours truly.
But with the summer months quickly approaching and goals needing to be reached, I have decided that maybe I should conduct my own power rankings of Sullivan Castle Island menu items, especially since they NOW have a second location in Hanover Crossing open year-round (Next to Marshfield… My old stomping grounds.)
So this isn’t simply a list of summer menu items; this is a DEFINITIVE POWER RANKING of Sullivan’s Castle Island menu items, which are available all year long!
Sullivan’s kicked off back in 1951 over at Castle Island, serving up all sorts of goodies like hot dogs, fried clams, lobster rolls, burgers, chicken sandwiches, soft serve, and a bunch more.
Now, without further adieu, I give you the DEFINITIVE LIST of Sullivan’s Castle Island menu items:
