NBA announces Celtics’ schedule for 2022 Summer League
The sting of losing the 2022 NBA Finals may still be there for the Celtics, but they now have a date for their attention to officially turn to 2022-23 with the release of the 2022 NBA Summer League schedule Monday.
For the Celtics, who will compete in Las Vegas as usual, the four-game Summer League slate will begin on Sat., July 9 at 5:30 p.m. (ET) with a head-to-head with the Miami Heat’s youngsters. That game will be featured on NBA TV.
The Celtics will then square off with the Summer League Bucks on Mon., July 11 at 8 p.m. (ET) on NBA TV, and continue their Summer League tour of playoff rematches with a showdown against Golden State’s Summer League squad the next night at 8 p.m. (ET). The head-to-head with the Warriors will be featured on ESPN 2, according to the NBA.
The C’s will then wrap things up against the Grizzlies’ Summer League group on Thurs, July 14 at 3:30 p.m. (ET) on NBA TV.
Following the four-game run, the teams will then drop into a tournament to crown a Summer League champion, which will take place on July 16 and 17. The Celtics lost the Summer League championship game to the Kings last year.
All Summer League games in Las Vegas will be played at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion.
