Around the NBA with Cerrone Battle after Celtics win over Pacers
The Boston Celtics dominated the Indiana Pacers last night with a 155-104 victory. The green offensive onslaught in the first quarter continued with a 44-27 lead after 12 minutes. The Celtics shot 54% from the field and 10-17 from 3-point range to take a commanding 75-54 lead into the half. The offense continued, extending their 21 point halftime lead to 45 points halfway through the third. The Celtics flirted with a 50 point lead for most of the 4th quarter, letting their starters rest. The bench struggled through the first 3 games but broke out thanks to Sam Hauser and Peyton Pritchard.

Coach Mazzulla on the Celtics bench scored 46 points in the 4th quarter: “They were organized, they got to their spots faster. I thought Payton did a good job organizing. They played with a sense of purpose and managed the game.”
One former member of the Celtics bench is Grant Williams. He has played well for Dallas in their 114-105 win over the Bulls.

The Celtics are off until Saturday, when they travel to Brooklyn to take on the Nets. Who defeated the Miami Heat 109-105. The other team to follow is the Milwaukee Bucks. They lost 130-111 to Toronto and fall to 2-2 on the season. Damian Lillard struggled defensively, allowing 24 points and 11 assists to Dennis Schroder. The Celtics and Bucks will have their first meeting of the season on November 22nd. The green will play 10 more games before then and things could look different for both.

Through 4 games, the trio of Miami and Milwaukee are struggling. The Celtics look to have a strong trio. The Clippers just made a trade to add James Harden. We have yet to season Phoenix fully healthy and will compete with Denver in the west. Cerrone Battle and I discussed our favorite trios around the NBA
