The Patriots are playing out the string after a 21-17 loss in Vegas on Sunday. The season is essentially over. The Bills and Dolphins are next in the schedule. 1-7 is the reality in New England. They are looking at a top 5 pick in the 2024 draft. Bill Belichick promised a restart heading into the game. The result is the Patriots as an organization need a restart. The team should let Belichick coach the rest of the season and move forward. The team should move on, but why not try to trade him at the end of the season?

The Saints sent Sean Payton and a 2024 third-round draft pick to Denver in exchange for the Broncos’ 2023 first-round pick and a second-round pick. What could Bill Belichick go for?

Teams should be interested in the 72-year-old coach. Did you watch the Cowboys and Chargers last night?

Chargers

The team has a quarterback in Justin Herbert. Kellen Moore would run the offense. The Chargers defense and special teams have been a problem.

Cowboys

We know of the relationship Belichick has with the Jones family. Dallas may need help on the offensive side of the ball. Belichick would run a Cowboys defense led by Micah Parsons.

Bills

Sean McDermott has a good team that has yet to get over the hump. They have a QB in Josh Allen. Ken Dorsey runs the offense. The Bills have drafted well. It's turn key for Belichick.

Jets

If Aaron Rodgers comes back, would Bill seek revenge? I can see it happening. Robert Salah isn't the answer. It's still the Jets.

Giants

Belichick loves the Giants. Belichick likes the owner. They have a QB under contract. Brian Daboll was the coach of the year, it may be too soon to move on. It would still be a destination.

Bears

Chicago has not had a big-name coach since Mike Ditka. They have struggled offensively but have Justin Fields and potentially the top 2 picks in the draft. Could the teams swap top 5 picks and the coach?

Washington

Eric Bieniemy would run the offense. Belichick would inherit a good defense and could make the money and have the control. They also have money to spend.

Navy

Navy just hired their former defensive coordinator as head coach. They moved to the American Conference and have some money to spend. His father coached there, maybe he follows in his footsteps.
