The Celtics have made the NBA finals for the second time in the last three seasons after sweeping the pacers in four games. Jaylen Brown was named Eastern Conference Finals MVP as the team now has time to rest before the NBA finals begin on June 6th.

The Celtics are on a seven game win streak and have started the playoffs 12-2. ( 18th team in history while 13 of the previous 17 won the title). They are 6-0 on the road (5th non bubble team while 3 of previous 4 won title). The Celtics improve to 76-20 overall this season and await the winner of Minnesota and Dallas who leads the serious 3-0.

The odds are out on who will be favored whoever the Celtics meet in the NBA Finals per Draftkings Sportsbook.

The Celtics are the clear favorite to win the NBA Championship. Whoever they play, it will be a tough matchup. With Dallas one game away from advancing to the finals, the intrigue of seeing former Celtic Kyrie Irving will be a storyline. Luka Doncic has been outstanding hitting multiple clutch shots and is in the MVP discussion every season.

The pressure is on the Celtics and has been all season. They should see the return of former Maverick Kristaps Porzingis who was held out of Pacers series. The duo of Jayson Tatum & Brown are looking for their first championship and will be the front runners to win the finals MVP and raise banner 18.
