Week 8 Betting Recap & Week 9 Odds
Week 8 saw the favorite cover going 13-3 straight up and 9-5-2 Against The Spread. The Dolphins are the best two leagues ATS in the NFL at 6-2. Jacksonville is now 4-0 on the road this season. Buffalo is 4-1 at home and 5-3 on the season. They are also 3-5 ATS, but have the lead in the AFC East. The Carolina Panthers got their first win of the year and are now 1-5-1 ATS this season.
The Chiefs were 7 point favorites on the road and lost to Denver, giving Patrick Mahomes his first loss vs the Broncos and is now 12-1. Home teams went 8-8 in Week 8 and went 8-6-2 against the spread. On the season, home teams are 62-57 SU (52.1%) and 58-56-5 (50.8%) ATS. We also saw plenty of back up quarterbacks in action this week. Will Levis threw for 4 Touchdowns in his NFL Debut. PJ Walker has been very reliable for Cleveland and the Giants are without Daniel Jones, they lost Tyrod Tyler to injury and went into Overtime with Tommy Devito under center. Look for quarterback play to improve this season.
