The proper way in lawncare: “wack, mow, blow,” or “wack, blow then mow”?
The Toucher & Hardy Show kicked off the week and the “dog days of Summer” by recapping their weekends. Both hosts enjoyed exciting weekends. Fred played another round of golf at THE Country Club in Brookline – his second round in three days – while Jon was thrilled to squeeze in two nine-hole rounds at Sassamon Trace in Natick.
Hardy, recovering from a near-death experience with a sore throat, managed a little golf but primarily focused on yard work. This led to a resurrection of a long-debated topic from his Mid-Day Show with Zo and Beetle: the proper order for lawn care. Hardy’s preference is “wack, mow, blow,” but other popular options include “wack, blow, then mow,” “mow, wack, blow,” and the rare “mow, blow, wack.”
Fred couldn’t resist asking the age-old question, “When do you get the hoe out?” Hardy quickly clarified that hoeing is a springtime activity. So, regardless of your lawn care order, make sure to complete the task before your neighbors notice.
