Fred Toucher doubles down, addresses backlash over Bill Belichick remarks

This morning, Fred Toucher reacted to criticism he received for poking fun at Bill Belichick. A listener emailed him, saying he should be “ashamed” for disrespecting Belichick. Fred wasn’t having it and went on a rant about why the legendary coach deserves some mockery these days.

Fred explained that Belichick built his career acting superior to everyone—like a “leader of men”—but now he’s on social media, dressing up for a much younger girlfriend, and looking nothing like the stoic, untouchable figure fans remember. Fred joked about Belichick’s transformation, saying it’s hard to reconcile the guy with eight Super Bowl rings with someone posing for Instagram photos in costumes.

Hardy and Albert Breer chimed in, saying it’s not the age gap in Belichick’s relationship that’s weird—it’s the whole vibe. Breer joked about how awkward it would be to see Belichick and his girlfriend at events, especially considering how serious he used to be. The group agreed that while it’s not wrong for Belichick to loosen up, it’s fair game to laugh at how drastically different he seems now.
