Integrity matters: An apology to the North Shore Roast Beef Community
Here at The Sports Hub, integrity matters. I’ve admitted when I’ve been wrong in the past, and today is no different.
Reflecting on my previous article celebrating the North Shore beefs, I realize I may have overlooked some important details. My intention was to highlight beloved spots to get a beef, but I seem to have stirred up a reaction within the roast beef community, particularly in the “North Shore Beefs” Facebook group. They’ve voiced their opinions loudly, and I must admit, I missed the mark.
My aim was to celebrate a tradition unlike any other, not misrepresent it. Moving forward, I’ll strive for greater accuracy in my writing. I apologize to Andy, the Beef community, and the North Shore in general for my oversight. I hope you can forgive me.
In response to the feedback, I’ve decided to republish the article with an updated list based on North Shore Beefs’ votes. Having personally tried some of these places, I can vouch for their top-notch rankings. Their unique way of scoring beefs is something special, and I’ll delve into it in an upcoming article.
Just to clarify: I wasn’t bribed or influenced in any way to republish this post. However, if North Shore Beefs would like to send me some beef merch, I’m a medium for t-shirts and hoodies. Large is cool too. 🙂
Let’s continue celebrating beefs together!
The definitive list of places to get a roast beef sandwich in Massachusetts
(Editor’s note: This article has been update from the original.)

Whether you prefer yours with cheese and slathered in barbecue sauce (3-way) or with nothing at all. When you’re looking for a hearty and robust sandwich, the North Shore has it locked down.
