Bad Plane Behavior: Toucher & Hardy On What NOT To Do In The Air
Just in time for the holiday travel season, the show played a little guessing game centered around bad plane behavior.
I came across this interesting travel-related article earlier not too long ago. It’s called “Air travel is back… and so are our frustrations with other passengers.” The piece comes courtesy of Sherwood, so credit where credit is due. Thanks, Sherwood.
The article summarizes a YouGov survey that digs into behaviors that American travelers will and won’t tolerate while in the air. Ten behaviors were put forth by the pollsters, with “acceptable” and “unacceptable” percentages assigned to each one.
Bad Plane Behavior: I’m On a Plane
I passed the list along to Hardy and suggested he set it up Family Feud-style: see if Fred and Wallach could nail the top five behaviors that received the biggest “unacceptable” response. Hardy brought it on the air and did just that. So what happened?
What happened is what usually happens when I bring a list to the show. Fred whiffed on a few guesses, said the list that I found was junk, and ripped on me. He pulled the same crap with my Dad Rock List awhile back. I still stand by that list. And that segment.
Bad Plane Behavior: I Can’t Complain
Listen to the segment and decide for yourself. Then let it roll into some audio from Jim Montgomery’s first presser as head coach of the St. Louis Blues. Then finish it all off with Fred going off on Bill Belichick toadie Mike Lombardi.
And look at that! You’ll have killed almost an hour of what might be soul-crushing holiday travel time. Take it easy in the skies this holiday season. And if you need some more distractions to keep you busy, scroll on down to our latest show playlist.
