The crew owns a record of 19-11 after Week 6 with Beetle, T-Bone, Zo, and Milliken all coming off wins. Unfortunately, Hardy cost us a chance at hitting our parlay. Just a quick refresher on last week’s picks:

Zo bet on the Ravens (-4.5) taking care of business against the Titans. Beetle put his faith in the Cowboys (-2.5) over the Chargers. Hardy was a victim of the Jets upset over the Eagles (-7). T-Bone won his fourth straight with the Bengals (-2.5) taking care of business against the Seahawks. Lastly, Milliken secured his second win of the year by taking the under of 41.5 in Patriots @ Raiders.

One of the biggest questions we get each week is what betting lines do we make our picks from. In past years, sports betting wasn’t allowed in Massachusetts, but that barrier has finally been broken down. Check out Bet MGM to see the exact same lines the guys are looking at.

Scott Zolak (4-2): Browns @ Colts – Browns (-2.5)

Even with Deshaun Watson likely being out Sunday, Zo is putting his faith in P.J. Walker to win his second straight game for the Browns. Gardner Minshew being the Colts QB also factors into this, especially after the Browns defense stifled the 49ers offense a week ago.

Beetle (5-1): Dolphins @ Eagles - Eagles (-2.5)

EAST RUTHERFORD, NEW JERSEY - DECEMBER 11: Jalen Hurts #1 of the Philadelphia Eagles runs the ball during the first half against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium on December 11, 2022 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. (Photo by Al Bello/Getty Images)

Coming off  a disappointing loss to the Jets a week ago, Beetle is all in on the Eagles bouncing back in a big way. Jalen Carter and Darius Slay returning this week should go a long way towards slowing the Dolphins' offense down. The Eagles being at home doesn't hurt either.

Hardy (3-3): Packers @ Broncos - Broncos (+1)

DENVER, COLORADO - JANUARY 08: Russell Wilson #3 of the Denver Broncos attempts a pass during the third quarter against the Los Angeles Chargers at Empower Field At Mile High on January 08, 2023 in Denver, Colorado. (Photo by Matthew Stockman/Getty Images)

It's been a rough year for the Broncos with the defense being an absolute embarrassment. Still, the Packers offense has slowed considerably since the first two weeks of the season. This should be a nice spot for Russell Wilson and Sean Payton to get their second win of the season with the Packers on the road.

T-Bone (5-1): Bills @ Patriots - Bills (-8)

Buffalo Bills v Miami Dolphins

T-Bone believes this is the easiest bet in the NFL this week. Patriots are an absolute disaster on offense and the Bills should have something to prove after barely squeaking by the Giants. Just like Albert Breer said, Bills win by 30 this week.

Milliken (2-4): Falcons @ Bucs (Bucs -2.5)

Chicago Bears v Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Heading into Week 7, the Bucs' defense has allowed the 8th fewest points per game in the NFL. On the other hand, the Falcons' offense is ranked 29th in points per game with Desmond Ridder coming off a 3 pick game against the Commanders. Give me the Bucs at home with Baker Mayfield bouncing back after a tough loss to the Lions.

4 simple betting tips you need to know, according to Dan Lifshatz

Mobile sports betting will launch in Massachusetts Friday morning at 10 a.m.

On Thursday's Toucher & Rich program, the Bankroll Boys—Joe Murray and Dan Lifshatz—join the show to give advice to new sports gamblers.

Lifshatz: I put out some rules on Twitter yesterday for new beginning bettors, and maybe you guys should follow them.

Rich: Give me your best rule. One that you abide by.

1. DON'T BET PARLAYS. YOU'RE GOING TO LOSE. DON'T DO IT!

LAS VEGAS, NV - FEBRUARY 02: The betting line and some of the nearly 400 proposition bets for Super Bowl 50 between the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos are displayed at the Race & Sports SuperBook at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino on February 2, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The newly renovated sports book has the world's largest indoor LED video wall with 4,488 square feet of HD video screens measuring 240 feet wide and 20 feet tall. 2. KEEP YOUR BET SIZE CONSISTENT. THIS RULE IS HUGE!

Lifshatz: One that's huge for me for new bettors is not for established bettors. Newer people includes should bet with consistency, this is in terms of how much you're betting.

Don't bet $500 here, $100 here, and $200 there. Keep it consistent, especially early on when you don't know what you're doing.

If you like a bet more, add a little bit more, that's fine. But for the most part, consistency is key, and it will help you down the line if you decide to do this more seriously.

Bankroll management is the biggest thing that really hurts bettors. People will bet $100 and win a couple hundred dollars and then bet $500 next instead of just betting $100 again. So, consistency early on is key when you're betting.

3. ONLY BET WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE

4. DON'T FOLLOW PEOPLE ON TWITTER WHO SAY THEY WIN. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH!

Lifshatz: Some rules for new bettors. Don't follow anyone on Twitter who's like, "Up 400 units in a week! Follow me!".

Don't do that. There are 4 billion accounts on Twitter that do this.

Also, don't buy picks. There are very few services that win. They all claim to win, but very few services actually beat the line and are profitable. This is extremely difficult to do.

Those are a couple of things I would tell you to be careful about.

Rich: Okay, so mobile betting goes live at 10 a.m. tomorrow morning?

Lifshatz: Yes, 10 a.m. I don't know if this is the truth, but just from a few things I've read, I would advise that you take advantage of these promos before mobile betting goes live.

Fred: Well, you have to do that before 10 a.m. tomorrow. The disclaimer, I believe, on all of them is that as soon as the first bet goes through in Massachusetts, the deal is over.

Lifshatz: If you want to get your bonuses and some expire tonight at midnight, you'll want to sign up today. Today is the day.
