Zo makes a BOLD prediction about the Patriots game vs. Jets
Zolak and Bertrand were joined by Mike Reiss of ESPN on Tuesday live from Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. It’s Jets week, but we are looking a little bit ahead as we ask Reiss what he thinks the Patriots record will be through six games.
Where does ESPN’s Mike Reiss predict the Patriots will be through six games?
“I’m going to give them a close win this week. Although reluctantly. I am concerned about the offensive line against the Jets defensive front. Then next week at Dallas would be a loss. So that would make them 1-3 and then come back home. The Saints look tough defense, but you’ve got to beat them at home. 2-3. Then the Raiders. They seem touch and go. So I will go with 3-3.”

During our discussion about where the Patriots are headed, Zo dropped a bold prediction about the Patriots game this weekend against the New York Jets and quarterback Zach Wilson…
Zo thinks the Patriots have a good chance of losing to the Jets this weekend…
“People forget how many snaps did [Aaron] Rodgers play Week 1? Four. That kid [Zach Wilson] beat Buffalo. So as bad as Zach Wilson is and has been against you, he made enough plays in that that opener when the shock and devastation really festered through your team.
“I was thinking about this in a way today, and I would die if they started 0-4 because it gives us really no hope. They could set probably the NFL record for being 0-4 and the fewest point margin as far as defeat, the differential where you lost by less than a touchdown, you lose by another touchdown, lose by three. If Trent Brown doesn’t play then I’m picking the Jets. If Trent plays, I’m probably going to pick the Patriots.”
