Tom Brady calls Julian Edelman ‘back to the east coast’

Wednesday morning gave us a peak into Tom Brady’s whereabouts, and perhaps his free agency intentions, and all from an Instagram comment.
Replying to a post by Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman, Brady wrote “Get back to the east coast so we can throw,” followed by a ‘100’ emoji.
The reply was so nice, Brady decided to post it twice (about an hour apart).
Narrowing Brady’s location down to a single coast feels like an accomplishment at this point, especially after the last few weeks where he’s been reportedly been spotted all over the country from Connecticut to California to Nashville to New England.
As for what this means for Brady’s pending free agency? It’s hard to imagine he’d still want to throw with Edelman if he knows the two will never be teammates again. Edelman is under contract with the Patriots through the end of the 2021 season when he’ll be 35 years old. If Brady plans on still throwing to Edelman again in the NFL, it’d take some serious gymnastics for it to happen outside of New England.
