Mazz & The Murray’s: How will the world end?
In a rare moment on the Felger and Mazz program, the guys stray away from sports talk for a moment and discuss how they think the world will come to an end.
How will the apocalypse happen?
Mazz: If the world ends, how do you think it’s going to end?
Jim Murray: Well, I mean, kind of right now, if it was World War III I wouldn’t be all that shocked. It seems like we’re barreling towards that. But otherwise, we’ll probably run out of water. It would be like Mad Max. We run out of, like, the precious juices, in Mad Max it’s gasoline, but probably water. I think it’d be like war for water. There’d be no more drinking water in resources of that nature. And so, yeah, that we start start killing each other over resources.
Mazz: Joe, you got a theory over there.
Joe Murray: I always go to the ocean first. It’s just we can’t control it. We can’t fight the tide. There’s nothing you can do there. But there has been a weird amount of rainstorms and, you know, lightning strikes and burning and stuff like that. It could all happen at once.

Mazz: I think the world’s going to burn. That’s what I think is going to happen. I think global warming is going to continue because let’s face it, Murray, there are people like you who don’t believe in recycling, okay? And so we’re going to get all types of, you know, gases that just overheat the earth. And I think you’re seeing some of it now with the forest fires and what have you. This is the very, very beginning of it. And I don’t know how long it’s going to go or what have you, but I think eventually the world is going to burn. That’s what I think’s going to happen.
