Patriots without two players on first injury report after bye week
The New England Patriots had two players miss practice and 10 others listed as limited on their first injury report of Week 15.
On Wednesday the New England Patriots released their first injury report since the bye week. While the week off helped the team rest up, 13 players appeared on Wednesday’s report.
Of those 13, two did not participate in practice at all. Wide receiver Javon Baker (concussion) and cornerback Marcus Jones (illness) were both out.

Nine of the 10 players who were limited on Wednesday were also on the last report two weeks ago. But of that group, Christian Gonzalez (shoulder) had his designation changed after dealing with a hip injury. Rookie tackle Caedan Wallace was also added after returning to practice Monday having been designated to return from IR.
Defensive tackle Christian Barmore (not injury related-other) also appeared on the report again. He was a full participant on Wednesday.
Meanwhile the Arizona Cardinals had eight players listed on their end of the report. Three didn’t practice – running back Emari Demercado (back), offensive lineman Kelvin Beachum (not injury related-rest), and punter Blake Gillikin (right foot). Five players were limited, including tight end Trey McBride (knee).
