Week 12 College Football Podcast & Playoff Chances
Week 12 of the college football season kicks off Saturday with a new number one team in the playoff rankings. Georgia has moved into the number 1 spot followed by Ohio State who plays number 3 Michigan next week without Jim Harbaugh. Florida State holds on to the 4th spot. There are 3 teams with a shot at jumping into the top 4 by winning out and the conference championship game.
Washington is 10-0 and goes on the road to Oregon State. Oregon has one loss to Washington and needs to win out while winning the Pac 12 championship. Alabama has a strong case if it can win out and defeat Georgia in the SEC Championship game. I don’t think Florida State makes the playoff even with one loss. The ACC is not a strong conference and a 1 loss Ohio State, Texas or Washington will get consideration.
