Tom Brady is set to make his return to New England on Sunday as the Patriots will honor TB12 with a halftime ceremony during their Week 1 game against the Philadelphia Eagles at Gillette Stadium. During his weekly interview with Zolak & Bertrand, Patriots center David Andrews, who has been with the team since 2015, provided some insight into the ways the leadership that Brady brought to the team is still being felt on this team three years after the departure of the quarterback :

David Andrews on how Tom Brady's standard is still being met today
"Being a part of those teams and the whole community, the fans, I mean, you know, I don't know if there will ever be anyone to do what he accomplished and what some of those teams accomplished. So, you know, it started with him, his leadership, his mentality, the way he pushed people. It was contagious. It was it was special. So, you know, excited to see him. He deserves everything he gets and tenfold of that.
"I definitely think so and I think it's something that you know what it looks like. And it wasn't just Tom. He obviously set the standard right. And no one did it better than that. But you saw that standard trickled down to every single player. And I think that's a huge thing. So, you know what it looks like. You know what that standard needs to be. And that's what you strive for every day."

Robert Kraft further addresses one-day contract to honor Tom Brady
Patriots fans aren't simply wondering how the team will honor Tom Brady, they want details. Ever since the greatest quarterback of all time announced his retirement last week, one of the most popular questions in New England has been whether or not he'll sign a ceremonial one-day contract to 'retire' as a member of the organization.
That idea was first floated seriously by team owner Robert Kraft, who brought it up in a CNN interview last week. On Tuesday, Kraft followed up those comments in an interview with Malcolm Johnson of NBC10 Boston. According to Johnson, Kraft told him "he spoke with Tom Brady" earlier in the day about a future celebration of his career in Foxborough.
"We're going to have him back here and celebrate his 20 years with the Patriots," Kraft said, before suggesting the celebration may not just be a one-time thing. "Hopefully we'll have occasions to do it every year - different reasons." Kraft suggested the upcoming 25-year anniversary of the Super Bowl XXXVI championship team as an example.
Finally, the topic of the one-day contract came up with Johnson asking if it will be "a one-day contract, or a special celebration?"
"All the above," Kraft replied.

We'll certainly find out exactly what that means in due time. At the very least though, it doesn't sound like Brady has ruled out doing a one-day deal with the Patriots.
As for what else could be included in 'all the above' that Kraft mentioned? Induction into the team Hall of Fame and retiring the No. 12 both seem like likely honors. There has also been talk about a potential statue somewhere near the stadium. Renaming streets or parts of a stadium are other things teams have done in the past to honor great players.
