Celtics and Heat release Game 7 injury reports
As Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra put it during his pregame press conference, “it’s all hands on deck” for Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals Sunday night. That will be the approach from both teams, who released their final injury reports Sunday evening.
For the Celtics, Robert Williams and Marcus Smart are both listed as available, as has been the case the last three games. Williams has missed time with a knee injury, and Smart is dealing with a sprained ankle.
Meanwhile, Miami guard Tyler Herro will ‘warm up with the intent to play’ after missing the last three games with a groin injury. During the first three games of the series, Herro averaged 12.3 points 23.8 minutes per game.
In what has been a long and grueling series, this will be the first time both teams have all of their starters and rotational players available. Of course, it comes with a spot in the NBA Finals on the line.
Sunday night’s tip off is set for 8:30 p.m., with pregame coverage beginning at 8 on 98.5 The Sports Hub and the 98.5 The Sports Hub Celtics Radio Network.
