Patriots list three players as questionable for Sunday’s game against Saints
For the first time this season, the Patriots didn’t rule a player out for Sunday’s game on the Friday injury report. However, the team does have three players listed as questionable heading into their Week 3 matchup against the Saints.
Tackle Trent Brown (calf), linebacker Josh Uche (back), and safety Adrian Phillips (not injury related) are the three players with statuses up in the air for Sunday’s game. Brown was limited in practice all week, and is still working his way back from an injury suffered in Week 1. Uche was limited on Friday as well, after not being listed the first two days of the week. Meanwhile, Phillips hasn’t been spotted at practice since Wednesday.
Running back Damien Harris (finger) and linebackers Matt Judon (knee) and Kyle Van Noy (throat) were all removed from the injury report after being full participants on Friday. Judon clarified during his media availability that he was given a maintenance day on Wednesday.
As for the Saints, they ruled center Erik McCoy (calf) out for the game. McCoy hadn’t practiced all week. Seven other players were removed from the injury report and are expected to play, including starting cornerbacks Marshon Lattimore C.J. Gardner-Johnson.
