Report: Tacko Fall has a new NBA team
The Tacko Fall era in Boston has come to a close. On Tuesday the 7-foot-5 center began the next stage of his career, signing with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Fall’s new deal is a one-year, non-guaranteed contract according to The Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed to a one-year, non-guaranteed deal with 7-foot-5 center Tacko Fall, agents Bill Duffy and Justin Haynes of @BDA_Sports told @TheAthletic @Stadium. Fall played his first two NBA seasons in Boston.
In two seasons with the Celtics, Fall played in 26 games averaging 2.7 points and 2.6 rebounds in 6.5 minutes per contest. He originally joined the team as an undrafted free agent prior to the 2019-2020 season.
With Fall now in Cleveland, the Celtics’ backcourt consists of Robert Williams, Al Horford, Enes Kanter, Grant Williams, Jabari Parker, Bruno Fernando, plus Sam Hauser on a two-way contract. Kanter is the Celtics tallest player listed at 6-foot-10.
