Greg Bedard of BostonSportsJournal.com joined Felger and Mazz on Tuesday and answered 10 questions from Around the NFL following week 18 of the 2024 NFL season. Below are some of the best QnA’s from the segment with Bedard!

Who’s your 2024 MVP and why?

Greg Bedard: Josh Allen. He didn’t have much talent around him. I think Lamar Jackson had a lot more talent around him. I thought Allen basically carried that team. 

 Give me three head coaches currently still employed who shouldn’t be?


Greg Bedard: Brian Callahan in Tennessee. Antonio Pierce in Vegas (he was fired right after this segment ended). Brian Daboll in New York.

Biggest toolbag of 2024?

Greg Bedard: Tyreek Hill. He was terrible this year and then the press conference he have the other day? That guy’s a complete loser. 

Give me the best head coaching hire across the league in the past 10 years…

Greg Bedard: Sean McVay. He was the youngest coach ever at the time. He had barely done anything at the time, he had been a coordinator but was mostly under Kyle Shanahan. So for the Rams to risk that and what he’s done, I think they knocked it out of the park. 

 Give me the worst head coaching hire across the league in the past 10 years…


Greg Bedard: Urban Meyer. What a flaming trash can that was.
