Bill Belichick has his next media job lined up
Bill Belichick will be part of the Inside The NFL panel this season.
The 2024 NFL season will be the first in a half century that Bill Belichick won’t be part of an NFL coaching staff. Still, the longtime New England Patriots head coach is keeping himself plenty busy.
Belichick has already signed up to work with ESPN’s Monday Night Football ManningCast, as well as the Pat McAfee Show. On Thursday, it was revealed Belichick will be joining the cast of Inside The NFL for the 2024 season.
“I’m thrilled to join my new team at NFL Films and to work on such a historic television franchise,” Belichick said in a statement. “I’ve always appreciated ‘Inside the NFL’s’ depth of analysis, and I hope to bring the same detailed insight to The CW by talking real football with real pros – Ryan, Chris and Chad – this coming season.”
Belichick will be one of four panelists on the weekly show, joining three former players. Former Steelers cornerback Ryan Clark hosts the show. The other two members of the show both played for Belichick in New England – defensive end Chris Long and wide receiver Chad Johnson.
Perhaps Belichick can get advice from them, as well as some of his other players who were part of the show. Phil Simms was on the panel for over a decade, while Julian Edelman has a recent run as well.
The first episode of this year’s season of Inside The NFL will debut on Friday Aug. 30 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW. New episodes will run every Friday night through the end of the season.
There also may be more coming from Belichick in the near future. Back in March, it was reported he plans on writing a book as well.
