NFL draft odds and picks
The NFL Draft is finally here and you can bet on it. Many here in New England are wondering who the Patriots will select with the 3rd overall pick. There have been many names floated on which quarterback the team is interested in and if they will trade back. The odds have shifted over the last few days on the 2nd and 3rd overall picks. Here we are on draft day and reports indicate that Drake Maye will go to the Patriots with the 3rd pick unless a team like the Giants or Vikings make a Godfather offer. The current betting odds for that scenario has Maye -240 as the third pick per Draftkings
It sounds like there are still questions about what Washington is doing with the second pick. Jayden Daniels seems to be the consensus pick and the current odds per Draftkings are -1000 that he is selected 2nd overall. If he doesn’t, Mayes odds are +600 to be taken second.
The odds have shifted for Michigan quarterback JJ McCarthy and his current over under sits at 5.5 on what pick he will be selected. The Cardinals have the 4th pick and could take the best non- quarterback available in Marvin Harrison Jr. The Chargers have the 5th pick and could consider trading back if the Vikings want McCarthy. They could stay 5 and select Malik Nabers or JC Latham at tackle.
