Mazz’s Tiers: Ranking the top veteran quarterbacks the Patriots could land
It’s time for the latest Mazz’s Tiers! With NFL Free Agency set to get underway to next week, Mazz gives his tiers on the top veteran quarterbacks that the New England Patriots could land via trade or in free agency.
But before the tiers, here are some stats on the New England Patriots offense (and some more) in 2023….
Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe threw for a combined 16 touchdowns and 21 interceptions for the Patriots in 2023.
The Patriots were tied with the Carolina Panthers for the lowest point total in the NFL in 2023. Each team put up a total of 236 points during the season.
Mac Jones led the Patriots in passing yards in 2023 with 2,210 yards. Bailey Zappe threw for a total of 1,272 yards.
Ezekiel Elliott led all Patriots running backs in total rushing yards in 2023 with 642.
DeMario Douglas led all Patriots receivers with 561 receiving yards in 2023.
Patriots placekicker Chad Ryland missed nine total field goals in his rookie season. Ryland made 24-25 extra points that he attempted.
