It’s time for the latest Mazz’s Tiers! With the Boston Celtics stealing game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Tuesday night over the Indiana Pacers, Mazz decided to rank the biggest stolen games in Boston sports postseason history.

But before the Tiers, here’s a look at a few teams that will be on the list!

The 2013 Boston Bruins came within two games of winning their second Stanley Cup in three years. The team ultimately fell to the Chicago Blackhawks in the Stanley Cup Final. The run to the finals was sparked by a Patrice Bergeron overtime goal in game 7 of the opening round against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Super Bowl 51 was the first Super Bowl to ever go to overtime. The New England Patriots came out victorious in the game over the Atlanta Falcons. The Patriots famously trailed 28-3 in the game before mounting a comeback to win. James whit scored the game winning touchdown in overtime.

The 2022-23 Boston Celtics almost became the first team in NBA history to come back from an 0-3 series deficit in the playoffs. They battled back to force a game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Miami Heat, however, they fell short of completing the task with a loss in game 7 on home court.

The 2013 Boston Red Sox won their third World Series since 2004 in 6 games over the St. Louis Cardinals. The Red Sox took down the Tampa Bay Rays and Detroit Tigers in the American League to reach the Fall Classic.
