Tier 3

Bill Parcells – “She’s making progress”. Spoken by Parcells in relation to WR Terry Glenn coming back from injury
Bill Belichick – “We’re on to Cincinnati”. Following a 41-14 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, Belichick uttered these famous words. The Patriots would go on to win seven straight games and ultimately would win the Super Bowl that season.
John Farrell – “We have five number one’s”. The former Red Sox manager believed that the club had five number one starters in the rotation.
Lou Gorman – “The sun will rise. The sun will set.” Spoken by Gorman after failing to acquire a player at the trade deadline.

Chaim Bloom – “We’re going to do this and it’s going to be awesome”. At a press conference announcing Rafael Devers’s new contract, Bloom said that the Red Sox are going to do it and it’s going to be awesome. Nothing awesome has happened yet.

John Henry – “Larry Lucchino runs the Red Sox”. Red Sox Owner John Henry saying that Larry Lucchino ran the Red Sox during his time in Boston.
Dan Duquette – “more days in first place”. Dan Duquette wanting everyone to know the Red Sox spent more days in first place than anyone else for a stretch of time.
Lou Gorman – “Where would we put him”. Lou Gorman on reference of Will McGee and wondering were they’d put him.
