Mazz’s Tiers: Ranking the best Super Bowls

It's time for the latest Mazz's tiers! With the Super Bowl coming up, Mazz ranks some of the best Super Bowls that have been played throughout its history!

But before Mazz's Tiers, here are some notes on the Super Bowl!

The New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers are tied for the most Super Bowl victories with six wins each.

The New England Patriots have made the most appearances in Super Bowl history with 11. There are four teams in the NFL that have never appeared in the Super Bowl. Those teams are the Detroit Lions, Cleveland Browns, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Houston Texans.

The Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings have each appeared in the Super Bowl four times and have no wins. They are tied for most appearances in the game without a victory.

The Baltimore Ravens and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the only teams to appear in multiple Super Bowls and not have a loss. Each team has won both of their Super Bowl appearances.

The most common Super Bowl matchup is a matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Dallas Cowboys. The two teams have met three times in the big game. The Steelers, who won Super Bowls X and XIII, have the 2-1 advantage. The Cowboys won Super Bowl XXX.

Super Bowl LVIII will be the first Super Bowl contested in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Quarterback Tom Brady has won the most Super Bowl MVP's with a total of five. Brady won the MVP four times as a member of the New England Patriots and once as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The quarterback position has the most MVP victories in Super Bowl history with a total of 32 MVP titles.

Former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has the most Super Bowl victories as a head coach. Belichick won all six of his head coaching titles with the Patriots.
