Golfers since 2000 who have won just one major championship but won it multiple times

Some golfers have won multiple major championships in their career but have only won at one of the sports majors. Below is a list of golfers since 2000 who have won just one of the majors but have won that major multiple times!

The South African golfer was victorious in the U.S. Open in 2001 and 2004. He bested the field at Southern Hills in 2001 and found the winners circle again in 2004 at Shinnecock.
Bubba Watson – The Masters

The lefty golfer was victorious in a playoff in 2012 over Louis Oosthuizen to win his first green jacket. He would return to the winners circle two years later with a more comfortable win over Jonas Blixt and Jordan Spieth.
Justin Thomas – PGA Championship

Thomas won his first PGA Championship at Quail Hollow in 2017 after firing a final round 68. Five years later he would win his second PGA Championship at Southern Hills in a playoff.
Scottie Scheffler – The Masters

Scheffler pulled a page out of Bubba Watson’s book and won two green jackets in three years. He won his first Masters in 2022 and followed it up two years later in 2024 with a second win at Augusta National Golf Club.
Bryson DeChambeau – U.S. Open

DeChambeau was victorious at Winged Foot in 2020 at the U.S. Open with no fans in attendance. Four years later he would give the crowds at Pinehurst No. 2 something to cheer about with his thrilling up and down on the 72nd hold to win his second U.S. Open.
