Danny Ainge earmarks return date for Jaylen Brown
The Celtics may be in the playoffs, but they can still battle for a higher seed down the stretch. And it sounds like they’ll be getting Jaylen Brown back just in time for one of the most important games left on the schedule.
On Brown’s return to the court, Ainge told 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Toucher and Rich Thursday morning that it’s “looking like he’ll probably be returning on Sunday” against the Miami Heat. Brown missed Wednesday’s win over the Orlando Magic with an ankle injury, and will also be out for Friday’s road tilt against the Chicago Bulls.
In more positive health-related news, Kemba Walker returned to the court on Wednesday after missing four games and scored 32 points in a dominant C’s win over Orlando. Listen below to hear Ainge talk more about the game, Marcus Smart, and his experience with rookie Payton Pritchard.
