The Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees are reportedly moving across the pond.
For a couple of games, in any event.
One of the biggest rivalries in sports is headed to London’s Olympic Stadium next summer to play two games in front of a British audience.
According to a report from ESPN, sources tell the Associated Press that the Red Sox and Yankees will be in London on June 29th and 30th of next year.
These will be Major League Baseball’s first regular-season games in Europe.
MLB joins the NFL, who have played regular-season matchups in London for over 10 years, and the NBA, who have played eight games each year in the UK since 2011.
