Beetle: I finally like something about Triston Casas
The Red Sox took 2 of 3 from the Yankees over the weekend, winning four out of six games against the top team in each league. The series concluded with a win on Sunday Night Baseball, and featured an in-game interview with Red Sox first baseman Triston Casas that even had Marc Bertrand in the slugger’s corner:
Beetle reacts to the Triston Casas Father’s Day story
I’m going to tell you for the first time in a while. I like Triston Casas just a little bit more. I don’t say that often this interview was electric. Triston, I love your dad to death. And shame on that mother, who called the freaking police, you loser. He literally gave his son the kick in the *** that he needed. I need him here. Now. Where is Mr. Casas? Could he be an assistant manager? Can they bring him? For everybody, not just for his son. To give everybody a kick in the *** in that dugout when they need it. We need that guy around. I need him to come kick his son’s *** when he’s out there. Sun tanning in the bleachers. I need that. Get to work. You’re at work, kid. Let’s go. I need his dad around. I love it. What a story. There’s no crying in baseball. Triston Casas. Alright, I can get on board with this guy right now. At this moment in time. Where’s this old man? I would give them one of those assistant to the general manager bogus titles and bring them on in, bring them on in. He kicks people in the ***. Looney tune style.
I bet if you, I bet if you hear the rest of that story, the charges didn’t stick and they got dropped like the next morning, because it was bogus. He’s being a brat. Can you believe you became best friends with that kid? I’d never speak to that kid again.
