Patriots’ full 2019 draft picks officially set after NFL awards compensatory selections

The Patriots’ draft picks are officially set for 2019, as the NFL has awarded compensatory selections for the coming league year. ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweeted the full list across the league on Twitter.
As previously projected, the Patriots officially have 12 picks in the 2019 NFL Draft after Friday’s compensatory selections were reported. They receive two third-round picks, presumably for the departures of tackle Nate Solder and cornerback Malcolm Butler; a sixth-round pick, presumably for the departure of wide receiver Danny Amendola; and a seventh-round pick, presumably for the departure of tackle Cameron Fleming. OverTheCap.com had previously projected the Patriots to receive a compensatory fifth for Amendola.

Bill Belichick is known for shuffling picks around, whether for players or other picks – especially on draft day. So don’t get too attached to any of these picks, even the first-rounder. But to be certain, Belichick and the Patriots enter the 2019 draft with plenty of chips to work with.
