Red Sox Blast ‘New York, New York’ In Champagne Celebration After Eliminating Yankees

The Boston Red Sox have won a postseason series for the first time since 2013, eliminating the New York Yankees in Game 4 of the American League Division Series at Yankee Stadium. And in a delicious slice of revenge for a move that Judge pulled at Fenway Park, the Sox started their champagne celebration in the visiting clubhouse by blasting Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York”.

In case you missed it, Judge needled the Red Sox after the Yankees won Game 2 at Fenway by playing “New York, New York” while walking by their clubhouse.
Of course, there’s no greater revenge than winning the series outright. The Sox just did that in impressive fashion, closing the Yankees out with two wins at the lion’s den that is Yankee Stadium. This celebration is just salt in the wound.

The Red Sox are on to Houston. They’ll take on the defending champion Astros in the American League Championship Series, starting Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET back at Fenway Park.
