Larry David Announces Show In Boston
Curb Your Enthusiasm will return for its twelfth and final season this Sunday, February 4. Shortly after that, Larry David has announced he will be making a show stop in Boston.
In a press release distributed by Live Nation yesterday, it was announced David will hit Fenway’s MGM Music Hall on Monday, April 1. This is one of just two shows stops David plans to make. The first is on March at Washington DC’s The Anthem.
Billed as A Conversation With Larry David, the evening layout is supposed to be David with a moderator on stage talking about his career. This, of course, will include Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm topics.
David also shared a comedy-infused statement pertaining to the show news. He says, “Hi everyone! It’s Larry. I’m really looking forward to seeing you all. Just so you know, I’ve recently had plastic surgery on my face and the doctor, who everyone raved about, totally botched it, leaving me devoid of all expression. So if I seem more sour than usual, that’s the reason, but don’t let it stop you from having fun!”
Here’s What You Need To Know
Tickets for A Conversation With Larry David go on sale starting at 10 am on January 31. This is for pre-sale only. Then, general public tickets will go on sale Friday, February 2 at 10 AM local. Both will be at Ticketmaster.com.
In case you are wondering what David was up to during the 2012 – 2018 Curb Your Enthusiasm season break, Live Nation shared the following. “In 2015, he made his Broadway debut at the Cort Theater as an actor and playwright in Fish in the Dark, which he penned over a three-day span while sitting on the toilet.”
There is no word yet on whether or not Larry David will discuss his toilet creative writing during his show in Boston this April. However, you can expect some insight on the new Curb season.
