Patriots vs Panthers Betting Odds
The preseason officially kicks off tonight for the New England Patriots as they play host to the Carolina Panthers at Gillette Stadium. Both teams will get a chance to finally hit someone from an opposing team and of course you can bet on it. I’ll start with this, anyone who says you are crazy betting on preseason football doesn’t understand the value that is presented. First, there are players that are getting time late in the game looking to make the team and have extra incentive. Also, the betting lines change drastically once it is announced who is playing in the games. The last thing, some teams have 4 quarterbacks playing and veterans looking to hold their spot looking to make an impression.
One other night regarding this game, there will be two head coaches making their debuts. David Canales comes over from Tampa Bay as the offensive Coordinator. Mayo who has never been a coordinator and will wear the headset for the first time. I’m sure both will be conservative in the first game and each team has questions along the offensive line. These are projected to be the two worst teams in the league this year. Last year, the Panthers were shut out in Week 1 of the preseason and scored more than 6 points in just 2 of their 12 preseason quarters. I expect a low scoring game
