Julian Edelman among six Patriots on Thursday’s injury report

Just two days away from their wild card weekend head-to-head with the Tennessee Titans, the New England Patriots had six players listed on their Thursday injury report.
Headlining the list, of course, was Patriots wideout Julian Edelman.
Limited (on injury reports, at least) for almost the entire season with various ailments, Edelman was once again listed with knee and shoulder issues. But by now, everybody knows that Edelman is most certainly going to play through the pain and suit up for the Patriots as he has all season. Edelman had a career-high 1,117 receiving yards on 100 catches (and six touchdowns) in 16 games for the Patriots in the regular season.
On the defensive side of things, defensive backs Terrence Brooks, Jonathan Jones, and Jason McCourty were all limited with groin injuries, while linebackers Ja’Whaun Bentley (knee) and Jamie Collins (shoulder) were also limited.
While nothing about this report is all that shocking or different from what it’s been over the last few weeks, it’s worth mentioning that good news came with the removal of Shaq Mason from the injury report entirely. Mason had been dealing with an ankle injury, but was a full participant in Thursday’s session at Gillette Stadium.
