Patriots Injury Report: Duke Dawson (Hamstring) Sits Out; Ja’Whaun Bentley Practices In Full
The Patriots injury report has two notable changes on Thursday. Rookie cornerback Duke Dawson did not participate due to a hamstring injury, after being a limited participant on Wednesday.
In addition, rookie linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley trended in a positive direction. He was a full participant on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday. He appears likely to suit up for his NFL debut on Sunday against the Houston Texans.
Dawson, however, has been hobbled with the hamstring injury since mid-August, according to CLNS Media’s Evan Lazar. He seems much less likely to be active for Sunday’s season opener at Gillette Stadium.
Four others appeared on the injury report with their statuses unchanged. Here’s the full report for Thursday…
Did Not Participate:
CB Duke Dawson (Hamstring)
Limited Participant:
TE Jacob Hollister (Hamstring)
RB Sony Michel (Knee)
Full Participant:
LB Ja’Whaun Bentley (Illness)
OT Marcus Cannon (Calf)
S Nate Ebner (Knee)
Final injury report coming on Friday, along with players’ official game statuses. Prediction: Everyone on the report will be “Questionable”, except for Dawson, who will be “Doubtful” or ruled out entirely.
