The Big 10 conference gets even tougher this season adding Oregon and USC to an already loaded group of teams led by Ohio State. Michigan is the defending national champions and has a ton of turnover after losing head coach Jim Harbaugh to the NFL. Penn State and Iowa will also compete and will be ranked in the top 25 to start the season. The rest of the conference will be middling but looking to compete with some of the top teams.

Ohio State is due this year, they are loaded at offensive line and bring back QB Carson Beck. The Ducks enter the conference with transfer QB Dillion Gabriel who is considered to be a top pick in the NFL draft. Nebraska could be an interesting team this season while Washington enters the conference after leaving the Pac-12 and off losing the national title game and a new head coach. UCLA also comes over with new head coach Deshaun Foster. Rutgers, Minnesota and Northwestern should improve while Michigan state, Illinois, Indiana and Purdue round out the conference.

There some interesting win totals in this conference, the schedules are brutal for some teams and it will be tough for some of the new comers to battle the weekly grind that is the Big 10. The Nittany Lions are one of those teams that start the year off with a tough schedule.
