Zolak & Bertrand: The Football Card – Super Wild Card Weekend
The crew owns a record of 37-36-2 after Week 18 as we continue to scuffle down the stretch.
Beetle won his second in a row as the Texans (-1) forced themselves into the playoffs by beating the Colts. Zo had another miss though, after expecting a low scoring affair between the Browns and Bengals (UNDER 37.5). R.J. wasn’t so lucky in his first time betting for Hardy, as he expected the Dolphins (+2.5) to keep things tight against the Bills. T-Bone nailed his bet though in the same game (UNDER 48.5). Lastly, continued to suck by putting his faith in the Patriots (-1.5) once again.
One of the biggest questions we get each week is what betting lines do we make our picks from. In past years, sports betting wasn’t allowed in Massachusetts, but that barrier has finally been broken down. Check out Bet MGM to see the exact same lines the guys are looking at.
Beetle (12-3): Dolphins @ Chiefs – Chiefs (-4.5)

After the Dolphins suffered a heart breaking loss to the Bills in Week 18, Beetle has a hard time seeing them beating the Chiefs in round one. Between the Chiefs having homefield advantage and the Dolphins being injured, this is a tough matchup for Mike McDaniel crew. Chiefs should be able to open up this game late and take care of business.
Zolak (7-8): Dolphins @ Chiefs – UNDER 43.5

The reason Zo is going under in this game is because the Chiefs aren’t built for shootouts. The defense has been their strength this year and they should be able to condone old friend Tyreek Hill. Especially since Hill is battling his own injuries.
Hardy AKA Ryan Johnston (6-8-1): Packers @ Cowboys – Cowboys (-7)

As rumors swirl about Mike McCarthy’s future in Dallas, Ryan Johnston is confident that they’ll show up against the Packers in round 1. Jordan Love has been a great story all season, but he’s in uncharted territory now. Look for the Cowboys to handle business at home.
T-Bone (8-7): Bucs @ Eagles – Eagles (-3)

The Eagles have been sliding for some time, but this was a club in the Super Bowl last year that has even more talent now. The only thing that could stop them is Jalen Hurt’s finger injury, but with Baker Mayfield and the Bucs being in their way, this is the best hand they could be dealt. Hard to envision them falling at home against a team that was only one game over .500.
Milliken (4-10-1): Browns @ Texans – Browns (-2)

Joe Flacco has been the best story in football the last month, and I think that continues against the Texans. C.J. Stroud is leading a young Texans team that hasn’t been in the playoffs for some time. Not to mention, Playoff Joe is 10-5 all-time in the playoffs and 11-4 against the spread.
