You Won’t Be Able to Guess Massachusetts 3 Favorite Halloween Candies
Halloween is coming up! And that means the candy buffet is almost here… or maybe it’s already here if you already have the trick or treaters candy in your festive Halloween bowl ready to hand out. I do that too, then I have to refill it a few times before Halloween because it always keeps disappearing!
CandyStore.com has been keeping tabs on which state loves which candy for almost 20 years now as they sell candy online shipping out all over the country. Massachusetts top 3 candies were a surprise to me. Butterfinger took the top spot in Mass. 2nd place goes to Sour Patch Kids (though you should actually avoid them – see below). And our third favorite Halloween candy in Massachusetts is Double Bubble Bubble Gum. I think I would have gone 1-for-3 with my picks there.

Rhode Island’s Top 3: 1) M&M’s 2) Twix 3) Candy Corn — Nice to see Candy Corn finally getting some love. I like to have one piece a year.
But… a Beverly Hills dentist is ruffling some feathers pre-Halloween by screaming from all of the mountaintops that you should absolutely avoid 5 candies this Halloween… and just in general.
Dr. Kevin Sands, a board-certified cosmetic dentist based in Beverly Hills, California, has stepped forward to say: NOT ALL HALLOWEEN CANDY IS CREATED EQUAL. Some is bad. But some is really, reeeeaaaaalllllyyyy bad. In fact, he says there are 6 candies to try to avoid at all costs on Halloween… and, in case you’re reading this article on some random March day, just in general.
